The approach I use is Emotionally Focused Therapy, or EFT.

Developed by Dr. Sue Johnson, EFT focuses on slowing things down, understanding our internal processes, and seeing how this affects what we tell ourselves, what meaning we make about life, and how we understand and connect to ourselves and those we care about.
